Violent protests: NPA headquarters, BRT buses burn

NPA headquarters on fire

The headquarters of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, in Lagos state has been set ablaze bybangry mob who converged on the premises.

Elsewhere,  several state-owned BRT buses were also set on fire.

More government-owned buildings have been marked for attack.

Private property and buildings were also not spared.

Television Continental (TVC) believed to be owned by a National Leader of  the All Progressives Congress,  Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  was also torched.

There were reports that the palace of the  Oba Of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, was attacked and massively vandalised.

His staff of office was taken away by the elements that broke into the palace.

Unconfirmed reports said the house of the mother of the Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu,  was burnt.

Lagos state has remained the epicentre of the #EndSARS, a movement seeking end to all forms of brutality and asking for good governance anchored on a restructured federation.
