Britain began rolling out coronavirus vaccines late last year, with more than 9m people jabbed to date – and counting.

The vaccine is seen as the key battleground in the war against the deadly disease, offering a way to return to normal life.

Certain groups are being prioritised at this stage, but the Government has vowed to have everyone vaccinated by autumn.

Care home residents and their carers are top of the list, followed by all those over 80 and frontline health workers.

But, as the roll out progresses, more and more of the population will be in line for a vaccination.
