The Chairman Body of Benchers, Asiwaju Adegboyega Solomon Awomolo, SAN will deliver the Key Note Address in the upcoming 2024 Law Week of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Unity Bar, Abuja branch.
Chairman of the branch, Afam Okeke in a statement disclosed that the Law Week Programme scheduled to hold from 6th to 12th May, 2024 is an annual event where the Branch x-rays the state of the nation and contribute its quota to the national discourse as well as proffer suggestions on the way forward.
The NBA Abuja Branch has a membership of over five thousand lawyers including over 150 Senior Advocates and Professors of Law. The branch has continued to make significant contributions to the judiciary and legal profession as a whole through trainings, sponsorships and capacity buildings in different areas of the law and emerging trends which impact the society at large.
In furtherance to its mandate of promoting the rule of law and enhancing political and socio-economic development with evolving trends for better performance and service to the society, the 2024 Annual Law Week themed “DEPLOYING THE LAW TO ATTAIN NATIONAL STABILITY AND DEVELOPMENT.’’
