79 African, Caribbean and Pacific states jointly endorse Okonjo-Iweala for WTO DG

For the post of the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) which Nigerian economist, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a step away from clinching, she has thanked 79 countries of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States for their huge support for her candidacy.
On her Twitter handle Saturday, she expressed her appreciation and twitted:
“Thank you to SG @PressACP HE Chikoti and all 79 member countries of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) for your endorsement and support. If selected DG @wto will work to ensure all members benefit.”
