Women’s Democracy Network-Africa (WDN-Africa) a vibrant network of exceptional women political leaders influencing women’s rights and gender equality in Africa is elated on the inauguration of H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah President of the Republic of Namibia. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and the people of Republic of Namibia upon this historic occasion of the inauguration of the first female President of the Republic of Namibia.

WDN-Africa recognizes the immense expectations placed on a leader of Her Excellency Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s caliber and reaffirms that exceptional leadership thrives on strong governance systems anchored by efficient oversight and accountability mechanisms and the collective support of citizens.
