The overall cases of dreaded COVID-19 pandemic since its outbreak in Nigeria was confirmed to be 102,601 on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
The figures were confirmed on the official website of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC today after it reported one-thousand two-hundred and seventy new cases of the novel virus.
The health agency revealed it has discharged 81,574 COVID-19 patients while 1,373 people have so far died of the same disease in the country.
Newspot understands that Lagos State was greatly affected with the pandemic with Plateau coming second, followed by Kaduna State which has just a close number with Plateau.
