Renowned Professor of Law and ex-Chair of the National Human Rights Commission, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu has been appointed Pro Chancellor/ Chairman of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, Anambra State.
The appointment which was announced Tuesday in a press release signed by Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo also named Chief (Mrs) Ifeoma Ekwueme, Amb. Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu and others as members of the University governing council.

GOVERNOR SOLUDO APPOINTS GOVERNING COUNCIL FOR CHUKWUEMEKA ODUMEGWU OJUKWU UNIVERSITY
Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has approved the appointment of a Governing Council for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Igbariam, Anambra State.
The new Council, assembled with a focus on excellence, integrity and strategic leadership, will provide guidance and oversight for the continued growth and development of the state-owned university.
The members of the new Council include the following:
