It was a time of mingling, merrymaking and keeping fit as the the Sports Committee of the Unity Bar (NBA Abuja) held its second edition of the lawyers hike.
The hike which witnessed a raffle draw for young lawyers with prizes like sports watches, law reports and many more won, equally came with free health check. Tests for high blood pressure, blood sugar level, hepatitis B and HIV were carried out for all members present.

The elated Committee Chairman, Mr Afam O. Okeke, who expressed happiness over the turn out and success of the event said the hike is part of the mandate of the sports committee to ensure that lawyers in Abuja keep fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. He particularly thanked all participants of the hike and assured them of more activities will involve keeping fit, lots of fun and networking.
The Branch chairperson who was represented by the branch secretary Prince Adebiyi Adetosoye, encouraged members to take advantage of events as this and fully participate. He also assured that more of similar activities will be initiated.
