1. Humanity is capable of great wickedness.
2. Without prejudice to other hemispheres capacity to do the same, and our capacity as Africans to do same, the Western Hemisphere, is a perfect replication of that capacity to do wickedness.
3. Forgive my hyperbole, but it does seem to me that the Western Hemisphere, jointly and severally, are also very intelligent, which intelligence they have often used for wicked purposes, as outlined in the 4th paragraph hereunder:

Examples of such self-centred wickedness include Congo Kinshasa (where the visionary Patrice Lumumba was exterminated by the West) to Burkina Faso (where the equally visionary Thomas Sankara was eviscerated by the West) to Côte d’Ivoire (where Laurent Gbagbo was removed and sent to the International Criminal Court on trumped-up charges only to be discharged and acquitted; [after his replacement by the pliant Alhassan Quattarra] because he dared to challenge France’s continued back door colonisation of Côte d’Ivoire); to mention a sundry few.
5. Putin appears to believe that the Western Hemisphere are encircling Russia slowly but surely for her destruction as they did with Libya.
6. For good measure, all the former Soviet Republics of consequence are now part of that Western alliance called NATO, with the exception of Belarus and Ukraine.
7. Ukraine is slowly but surely headed towards NATO.
8. When resource-rich Ukraine falls to NATO, the encirclement of Russia would be complete, and the Western Hemisphere will exact their pound of flesh upon Russia. And Putin.
9. Remember Gadaffi and the utter ruination of Libya?
10. And this is why Putin is fighting. He is not exactly mad.
11. Attack being the best form of defence, Russia is actually defending itself from western aggression with Ukraine as the pawn in the chess game. Putin appears to believe that his beloved Russia will be emasculated sooner than later, and so all bets are off. The nuclear option is on the cards, and he will use it and self-destruct if need be as long as he takes the western powers with him.
12. Only time will tell if this was a wise move. But the Western Hemisphere will be wise to leave Ukraine alone; coming to Ukraine’s rescue only if threatened by Russia. Similarly, Russia will be wise to not try to absorb Ukraine into her orbit, while keeping a wary eye on her. Ukraine would similarly be wise to adopt a strictly non-aligned status going forward.
13. Someone may say that Ukraine is an independent, sovereign nation and has a right of association with any bloc she wants. True. But things are not always that simple, which is why this war is currently ongoing in Ukraine.
