  • 2004 till date: Member, National Executive Committee (NEC), NBA.
  • 2006-2008: 1st Vice Chairman, NBA Makurdi Branch.

  • 2004-2008: Member, NBA Continuing Legal Education Committee at the National Level.

  • Appointed Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) on the 7th of July, 2011.
  • Sworn in as Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Hon. Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice A.I. Katsina-Alu, GCON, on the 26th day of August, 2011.

Mr. Okutepa whose hobbies include: advocacy, teaching, reading, accepting challenges, meeting people, playing football, discussing national and international issues, writing and traveling is happily married to Mrs. Eleojo Toyin Okutepa.
