The Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal Benin division, Hon. Justice Theresa Ngolika Orji-Abadua is dead.
Sources close to the 64 year-old jurist told Law & Society Magazine that she died this morning (Friday, 8 March).
Justice Orji-Abadua who was on the reserve list of nominees for last rear’s appointment to the Supreme Court was from Ikeduru in Imo State.
Born on the 15th of October 1959, she studied law at the London Metropolitan University from 1980 to 1983 and was at the Nigeria Law school from 1983 to 1984 when she was called to the bar.
She also studied at the School of Arts and Social Sciences of Northumbria University in the UK.
Her Lordship was elevated from the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory to the Court of Appeal on 15 February 2008.
