Popular Twitter user and lecturer Dipo Awojide has thrown a query on the possibility of a best graduating student getting a cash prize of N90m like the BBNaija winner.
This year’s BBNAIJA winner goes home with N90M after the 90 days reality show.
According to him, universities give 10k and a useless handshake to the best brains.
He wrote;
“If a #BBNajia winner can get N9OM in cash price there is no reason why best graduating students across our prestigious federal and state universities should be getting N5K, N1OK or a useless handshake. We must do better. Academic excellence should be celebrated!
I am trying to save all of us the embarrassment of begging other countries. I am advocating for ways for us to become a true African giant.
I am not criticizing entertainment. Enjoy but don’t lose focus☺️🤷🏽♂️.
Until we prioritize the education sector and invest in our youth, it is likely we will continue begging for ‘ventilators and vaccines’ from countries that see education and research as priorities.”

Meanwhile, one of the new housemates Yerin, a few hours into the show, was called out over an unpaid debt.
It looks like it’s going to be a very interesting season ahead as it didn’t take minutes before stories about the just-announced housemates began popping out.
.
OneTwitter user, @Miss_Ameenah made series of tweets narrating how the housemate refused to pay one of her friends before heading into the Big Brother House.
She had tweeted;
“This Yerins guy borrowed money from my friend and has refused to pay for the past 1 year, uncle don carry am go BBN.
“Me I am sha saying it now. I don’t care if the money is no biggy, he should better pay her her hard-earned money. He has been lying he doesn’t have it, but he can go for bbn.
“He should sha win the one he will pay her back.
