The International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA Nigeria, Abuja branch has concluded plans to commence its student-associate chapter at Baze University in Abuja.
Following the call for a Student-Associate Membership at the university, FIDA Abuja led by its Chairperson, Chibuzo M. Nwosu visited the Law students of the institution.
Welcoming the Branch, the Family Law Lecturer at Baze University and past Vice-chairperson of FIDA Abuja Branch, Mrs. Ozioma Izuorah, introduced the branch and the essence of the day’s event.
She then enjoined the students to embrace this collaboration in order to keep the family together.
Introducing the branch and its mandate to the teaming law students, FIDA Abuja’s Chairperson Ms. Nwosu gave a synopsis of the history, mission, vision, and core values of FIDA.
She also thanked the school authority for the opportunity to share a lasting working relationship.
Nwosu added that “the relationship will strengthen the FIDA mandate as it extends the mantral to the students”.
