FIDA Abuja receives NAPTIP award for extensive service to GBV survivours

For responding to the numerous issues of violence against women and children; the fight against human trafficking in Nigeria and for supporting the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) since its establishment in 2003, FIDA Abuja received a recognition award.

NAPTIP on 27th of July 2023, conferred the award on FIDA Abuja during the celebration of its 20 years anniversary, which took place at the A Class Park and Events Centre, Maitama.

The award was received by FIDA Abuja’s Chairperson, Ms. Chibuzo M. Nwosu,.

She was accompanied by the Vice Chairperson, Francisca Akaniro-Opara, and the General Secretary, Mojirayo Ogunlana-Nkanga.

The Branch was particularly eulogised for distinguishing itself as an organization that responds to numerous issues of violence.
