Born on the 4th May 1962 at Omolo-Omagwa, Rivers State, Nigeria, Mark attended Primary and Secondary Schools between 1971 and 1980 in Port Harcourt. He was at the Rivers State University where he read law between 1984 and 1989. He went on to the Nigerian Law School and obtained his Bachelor of Laws between 1989 and 1990.
Mark, a certified Specialist On Asset Recovery (CSAR) who has a Certificate In Leading Professional Service Firm, attended the Harvard Business School Boston, Massachusetts USA in 2014.
He is a member of the following associations: Nigeria Bar Association, African Bar Association, Communication Lawyers Association, American Bar Association (International), International Association Of Asset Recovery, International Association Of Democratic Lawyers and International Bar Association.
