Sparkling Lavender-Mint Limeade

Description

A delightfully light and refreshing mocktail made with lavender, mint, and lime to cool you down on a hot day.

Ingredients Servings: 4

• 3 cups fresh lime juice

• 1 cup lavender mint simple syrup (Click link above

• 1 cup sparkling water

• 1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Step 1

For Sparkling Lavender Mint Limeade Mocktail, combine lime juice, water and simple syrup in a large pitcher. Stir to combine. If your limes are very tart (sour), you can add extra syrup.

Step 2

Add in lime slices and mint leaves and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.

Step 3

When ready to serve, fill pitcher with ice, top with sparkling water and lavender sprigs if desired. Stir to combine. Pour into individual glasses. Garnish with lime slices, mint leaves, and lavender sprigs.

Lavender Mint Simple Syrup

Description

This flavourful simple syrup goes into our refreshing Sparkling Lavender-Mint Limeade, but of course you can also use it to craft your own mocktail or cocktail!

Ingredients Servings: 4

• 1 cup sugar

• 1 cup water

• 4 sprigs lavender

• 4 leaves fresh mint

Directions

Step 1

Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Take off heat. Add in lavender sprigs and mint leaves and let steep for 12-15 minutes.

Step 2

Let cool completely.

Step 3

Strain mixture through fine mesh sieve to remove any pieces.

Step 4

Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
